The Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board’s Youth Council assists with planning and program design of youth services. The youth council is responsible for increasing the awareness and importance of youth issues at both the local and state levels; leveraging funds for youth programs; motivating individuals, agencies and communities to improve youth services; and ensure that all youth are provided the opportunity for career development.
