Our goal is to link employers and job seekers and address the challenges impacting Milwaukee’s unemployed and underemployed. We do this through a Job Center System that is a valuable clearinghouse of workforce investment resources.

The MAWIB's Board is comprised of prominent business, labor, education, government and community leaders. The Council’s Board and its committees identify labor and skill shortages that are key to Milwaukee’s economic health. We then develop education, transportation and other solutions to assist our customers in building the workforce they need to remain competitive.
